We didn't set out to build software. We set out to fix a broken industry.
StreamABA is the ABA practice management platform Jessica always wished existed, and Chris finally built. This is how a kitchen-table conversation turned into software that actually works.
"I just want software that doesn't fight me every day."
Jessica is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst with a Master's in Psychology. She's been an RBT, a BCBA, a clinical lead, and a mentor. She's trained future behavior analysts, and she specializes in trauma-informed, assent-based ABA.
She's lived every role in a practice, and she's used every major platform. All of them made her job harder: four different systems that didn't talk to each other, enterprise pricing for interfaces that looked like they were built in 2005, and support tickets that disappeared into black holes.
The real frustration went deeper than bad UX. Jessica's approach to ABA is rooted in compassion, mentoring, and genuine connection with families. The software she was forced to use didn't reflect any of that. It slowed down the very care she was trying to provide.
She'd come home and vent. And Chris kept saying the same thing…
"I could build something better."
Chris is the engineer. He watched Jessica wrestle with duct-tape software night after night. Why does scheduling take 11 clicks? Why can't the systems talk to each other? Why does every workaround need its own workaround?
He kept promising he'd build something better. She kept saying "sure, honey."
Then one night they actually sat down and mapped it out. Not a wish list: a blueprint. What would the perfect ABA platform look like if you designed it from scratch, with a practitioner sitting right next to the engineer?
That kitchen-table conversation became the foundation of StreamABA. Every workflow and every screen is informed by someone who's lived it and built by someone who can ship it.
The same frustrations. Every clinic. Every platform.
"We use four different systems."
None of them talk to each other. Staff lose hours every week re-entering the same data across platforms that should have been one system from the start.
"The people who built this never worked in ABA."
Workflows don't match reality. Features are buried six menus deep. Every update feels designed by someone who's never set foot in a clinic.
"We pay enterprise prices for a 2005 experience."
Add-on charges for basic features and weeks of training just to onboard a new RBT. The cost doesn't match the value.
So we built the software Jessica always wanted.
Not a reskin of someone else's platform. One system built from the ground up, with every decision informed by the practitioner sitting across the table.
Every decision still starts the same way, with Jessica asking "would this make my day easier?" If the answer isn't an obvious yes, it doesn't ship.
Four promises we keep.
Built by ABA, for ABA
Every feature goes through a practitioner before it ships. If it doesn't make the work easier, it doesn't make the cut.
One system
Leads, intake, communication, authorizations, and tasks on one family record. No data to re-enter.
Respect for your time
Eleven clicks to do something is a bug, not a feature. We obsess over removing friction so you can focus on care.
Transparent, always
No surprise fees. You'll always know exactly what you're paying for before you commit.
Software built by people who get it.
See it for yourself first: the live demo is instant, with no sales call. When you're ready, we onboard one practice at a time, by invitation, because every practice deserves a thoughtful rollout.
